Dental Bonding

Bonding

Bonding can be used as a restorative procedure for teeth that are chipped, cracked, discolored or misarranged. When a patient is not prepared for or interested in veneers, bonding can be used as a cost effective way to temporarily solve the issue while deciding what to do long term. Our dental office in Tulsa is equipped to do same day bonding for our patients.

How Bonding Works

Bonding can normally be completed in one visit. Dr. Lebedoff uses a combination of technical skill and cosmetic artistry to create an aesthetically pleasing appearance.

  • Step 1: The damaged tooth is prepared for bonding with a light etching of the surface to make it grip the bonding resin more firmly.
  • Step 2: The bonding liquid is applied carefully, and then a plastic resin is applied and sculpted to cover any imperfections.
  • Step 3: Once the resin hardens, it can be trimmed, smoothed, and polished to a natural shine.
